How To Fit An Internal Door Handle
Our internal door handles come in pairs, to fit on either side of a door. Whehter you're installing a door lever handle or mortice door knob, follow our step-by-step guide:
1. Remove and responsibly recycle the old door hardware.
2. Measure the diameter of the hole through which the new internal door handle will be installed – it should measure at least 17mm.
3. Insert the door latch through the side of the door.
4. Ensure the spindle and cylinder rose are oriented correctly and insert both through the door.
5. Mark through each hole of the cylinder rose.
6. After removing the spindle and cylinder rose, drill through the marked holes with a 3mm drill bit.
7. Place the door latch, spindle and cylinder rose back in place, and screw in each with the provided screws.
8. Place the backplate and door handle over the cylinder rose on each side of the door.
9. Tighten both grub screws on each door handle until fully secured in place.
Position the door latch strike plate on the door frame, and screw in.
